Requirement: ScarWork Practitioner certificate ( Basic course)
Revision and refinement of familiar techniques, learning new techniques (e.g. for extensive scar tissue, skin grafts, tummy tucks, burns, and scars on the Achilles tendon).
You will see 2 demonstrations, and you have 2 opportunities to work with models.
Part of this workshop is the verbal exchange of experiences with other ScarWork practitioners.
It means one should have worked with scars regularly over a period of time when booking this specific workshop.
Day 1 (9:00 – 17:30)
- 9:00- 10:00 Greeting round; Discussion of experiences with ScarWork, Q&A
- 10:00 – 12:00 Demo on 1 model, new techniques Part 1
- 12:00 – 13:15 Lunch
- 13:30 – 15:30 Model work
- 15:30 – 16:30 Debrief, Q&A
- 16:30–17:30 Post-surgery care and hypertrophic scarring
Day 2 (9:00 – 17:30)
- 9:00–9:30 Check-in and Q&A,
- 10:00–11:30 Demo on 1 model, new techniques Part 2
- 12:00–13:00 Review of all new techniques
- 13:00–14:15 Lunch
- 14:30–16:30 Model work
- 16:30–17:30 Debrief and Q&A
